Franz Moishe Kempf
Franz Moishe Kempf was an Australian artist who mastered a range of mediums - painting, etching, lithograph, monotype, screen print, textile, and woodcut. According to art historian Sascha Griffin, he effectively “commemorated the miracle of being and condemns all that is oppressive and coercive”. He founded a grant for young artists and his work is shown in the Andrew Steiner Education Center and the Adelaide Holocaust Museum's Franz Kempf Memorial Gallery.
