Irving Rosenzweig
Irving Rosenzweig painted his figures within a medley of expression and abstraction, experimenting with tone and color blocking. He was known to be a very soft-spoken person, and his art reflects that. His figures, mostly women, emanate calming vibrations, particularly in pose and color. He also painted city scapes with similar qualities. To achieve these effects in his artwork, Rosenzweig studied extensively at the Pratt Institute, Art Students League, and internationally in Paris, Florence, and Barcelona.
Died 1983 in Fort Lauderdale, FL
